Bet you didn't expect this!
Hello Age of Wonders Planetfall! I am originally a Total War modder and now I am trying something new. I love scale in my wargames and 1-2-3-4 figures in my squads are far too little and lacking in immersion for my taste. So I wanted to do something better.

What does this Mod do?
  • Increases the figure count in most squads by a large amount. (some x2, some x3, some beyond that.
  • Single units and some vehicle units are unchanged.
  • Modname: "unit_size_x2"

Careful, this mod will increase performance demand.

if i download a mod that adds new units, do they auto get more units? or is it just base game?

@Guvenoren you wouldn't happen to be on discord would you? I feel like I'm really close to figuring out how to make squad sizes bigger in AoW3 but I don't know if you might have some tips to help me make it. It's been tricky sorting through the rpks lol

This is awesome! Out of curiosity; where's the discord for this mod advice? The old Age of Wonders had some modded factions added, Shadow Elves and Wastelanders, and there are "Regiment" mods that do similar things to your mod here, but only for the vanilla factions; so the aforementioned other factions aren't scaled appropriately number wise.Or if it's easy enough to do maybe you'd want to whip up a submod or two for them yourself. In any case, thanks Guv! You're always a trustworthy modder for strategy games!
