20,000 years ago, while the north of the continent was locked in ice, the prairies of the American South were home to herds of Columbian Mammoth, American Camel and other extinct species. Now a new zoo on the US-Mexico border seeks to recreate this lost landscape using some of these animals modern day relatives. Asian elephant, Bactrian Camel, Bison and Pronghorn roam a huge naturalistic paddock in a modern recreation of the paleo prairie. The zoo also features facilities for the captive breeding of endangered American carnivores including the Mexican Wolf and Jaguar.

This North American park could easily be adopted to house some of the species arriving with the new DLC, especially the cougar/mountain lion/puma.
