描述
Borrowing some design ideas from the Vauss Cannon, the Lancer is an always-coaxial laser that's available anywhere that you can find a standard Laser Turret. However, it is less common. Does not suffer from the same issues that impact the standard Laser (poor scaling / turret factory scaling).

Thanks to Rinart for helping me find an odd solution to an odd bug!

The awesome ship in the thumbnail can be found here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2455115818 - note that it's using 4 turrets in tandem! The in-game lancer will use the standard laser turret appearance, and the beams won't be quite as large (unless you use 4 of them of course!)

Ehhh maybe. I get tired of dealing with people constantly complaining about weapon balance (this one at least has been fine, thankfully) so I tend not to do them that much these days. I've got like three more that I'm planning on releasing and that's probably the end of the line.

Nevermind, this is apparently an issue with all coaxial lasers. I have no idea what I'm doing but sometimes they're invisible and sometimes they aren't

Running into an issue where the lasers are invisible. Not sure why. They seem to still work fine otherwise

It's based on the existing avorion laser, so it's not much more powerful than a normal coaxial one. It's just available much earlier in the game.

Yes. The fighter cost reduction breaks this mod because of a problem with the tooltip.

I contacted the mod author to try and fix it, but he just turned the comments off on his mod. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and flag all of the arsenal extension mods as incompatible with that one.
