Hyde Class Corvette

The Hyde is a small but effective corvette based off the type 22 missile boat and the Tuo Chiang Corvette. The Hyde relies on high speeds and strong weaponry to defeat crafts above its weight class.

The Hyde is armed with a frontal sabot railgun that doubles as a decent CIWS system along with 12 medium frag missiles launched from the four rear missile systems. It also is equipped with four medium torpedoes as well.

The Hyde may have no laser defense and only mediocre armoring, but its missile defenses are very good for its price. The Hyde has 32 small interceptors, two radar/flare decoys, and two sonar decoys (with one being a torpedo with a sonar buoy).

The Hyde's built in weaknesses are that slow crafts can be hit by the sonar buoy, APS, and lasers.
