Wedell-Williams Model 44

Made to compete in the RLM 28: 30's Racing Planes contest hosted by Brammer. The Modell 44 was a successful 1930's raceplane. the original design had only a 2 propellors, I had to add more to give the aircraft better acceleration.

It was one of a few planes I planned to build, but the only one I managed to finish in time for the contest. Handling was tuned specifically for the contest race track "lago d'Aereo" and for 65% timespeed due to the contest rules.
