Boeing-Vertol CTA 2400

Built between 1976 and 1978 by Boeing-Vertol, The 2400 was a series of subway cars for the Chicago ''L''
This unit had several different liveries throughout its service life, this particular asset is painted in its original red white and blue livery.

While its service has been discontinued completely since 2014, several units were preserved and some still drive for the CTA on fantrips.

In total it served 38 years for the CTA in active passenger service before being retired.
