The Nile

描述
Map of The Nile from the Gifts of The Nile scenario.
Besides being a navigable river, The Nile also includes Gold as a resource and Cataracts as features. (The river itself is terrain unique to this map).

#TheNileChallenge
There are no strategics beyond iron and horse (because the map was originally developed for the Gifts of The Nile scenario) #TheNileChallenge. (See discussion).

Caveats
  • Some leaders will display the Gifts of The Nile backgrounds and icons. (e.g: Gigamesh, Saladin, Trajan).
  • Holy Sites will render as the special district from Gifts of The Nile.

FYI this is not compatible with Ancient Egyptian Pantheons.

@Kiddrangon I found out what it is! It's a mod load order problem. It's why it wasn't showing up for me. As soon as I unsubscribed and resubscribed to another mod I also got the error. It is reproducible.

Fix incoming. Thanks for taking the time to let me know and help with the fix :steamhappy:

I do. Here is what I have in the 289070, Maps>Nile.Civ6Map & Nile.Lua, XLM> Config & Data & Icons_Mode & Monopolies & Text & XP1 and XP2 Data & Nubia Civ and lastly The Nile.Modinfo

@Kiddrangon IT sounds like there is a mod issue. Can u look in the mod folder and see if u have the map: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\2533959502\Maps\Nile.Civ6Map"

I own every DLC and Expansion. I have tried ONLY this mod. Doesn't work for me.

Why does the pictures you have posted in this are different then the map in game using editor? That river/coast tiles don't appear...

@Kiddrangon I had a look and everything works for me. I think maybe you are having mod problems. Try to use only this map/mod.

The map itself is unchanged from the Gifts of The Nile scenario. You need to have that enabled or it won't work. It references the Vietnam & Kublai Khan DLC (monopolies support for gold resource). Maybe there is a problem if you don't have NFP. IDK

Also its not even the same map as the pictures! I managed to copy/paste the mod folder from the steam side folder into the My Games Civ 6 Mod folder. I am 100% unable to load it for a game but I can load it into the map editor.

I get a mod error every time I use this mod. I have tried using no other mods but the Enhanced Mod Manager and still doesn't work.
