Expanded Japan (23 new regions, 18 new factions, 23 playable factions)

This is an older version of my Expanded Japan mod, which I will no longer be updating. You may use this mod in another mod if you give me credit.

This mod is not compatible with some mods, so if it won't load try disabling other mods.

This mod is not compatable with Rise of the samurai or Fall of the Samurai. It only works with the Shogun 2 Campaign.

Thanks to the "All factions playable by Sara Temer" I was able to make the Amako, Ashina, Hatakeyama, Imagawa, Kono, Miyoshi, Murakami, Ouchi, Satake, Satomi, Shoni clans playable. This increases the number of playable clans to 23.

The following Saikaido (Kyushu) provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Tsukushi province into the Chikugo, North Chizuken, and South Chizuken provinces (all owned by Shoni); and Tachibana (owned by Tachibana) provinces.
- Hyuga province into North Hyuga and South Hyuga provinces (both owned by Ito).

The following Nankaido (Shikoku and Kii province) provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Tosa province into West Tosa (owned by Chokusabe), Nakamura (owned by Ichijo), and Agawa (owned by Motoyama) provinces.


The following Kinai provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Settsu province into the Settsu province (owned by Miyoshi); and Osaka and Izumi provinces (both owned by Ikko Ikki).

The following Hokurikudo provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Echigo province into East Echigo and West Echigo provinces (both owned by Uesugi).

The following Tosando provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Omi province into South Omi (owned by Kyogoku), Koga (owned by Rokkou), and North Omi (owned by Azai).
- North Shinano province into Kawanakajima (owned by Uesugi), North Shinano (owned by Murakami), and Chiisagata (owned by Sanada) provinces.
- Fukushima province into Aizu (owned by Asahina), Hamadori (owned by Soma), and Iwaki (owned by Iwaki) provinces.
- Iwate province into Iwate (owned by Nanbu) and Sannohe (owned by Oura) provinces.

The following Tokaido provinces have been split into one or more provinces:
- Musashi province into Osato province (owned by Ogigayatsu Uesugi); North Musashi and South Musashi provinces (both owned by Hojo).

This mod adds the following new provinces:
- Oshima in Hokkaido (owned by Matsumae).
- Goto Islands (owned by Goto).
- Tsushima islands (owned by So).

This mod adds the following new factions:
- Asakura in the Echizen province.
- Ryuzoji in the Hizen provinces.
- Masuda in the Iwami provinces.
- Utsunomiya in the Shimotsuke provinces.
