描述
Even being in a war doesn't prepare you for this. They never stop, they come at ya and come at ya and they never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stop!

Since the TLS update, the L4D1 CI have been added into the game with new textures, new models, and the gore system. However, with the limitations of L4D2's shader system, the variety of the Common Infected is small and will often see the same face. This applies to the head variety, as well, having 2 to 3 heads per model.
This mod aims to not only improve the Common Infected variety but also improves the quality of textures introduded in the update, and then some!

Changes:
- No need for wound vmts, this was done by adding "$wound" and "$burning" in the "common_infected_shared" vmt.
- Lots of face variety between Common Infected
- New model and texture additions.
- Redone beta textures to have the retail look.

Note:
- (Kind of) Reskin compatiable
- This may or may not work online

If there are any bugs or issues that you may have, please let me know in the comments.

Not really, I think most mods complement with this. Though, anything Vanilla+, I think, works best

@Pengu im over a month late, but i made a quick vscript to precache all the L4D1 commons and i saw no improvements with the initial lag spike. the lag spike is also more pronounced when using this mod, but less so with the retail addon to this
