CV Wakamoto

The iconic voice actor and parody, CV Wakamoto, has finally arrived to Rivals of Aether, and is ready to showcase his numerous talents from being a noble thief, to harnessing both the Orochi and Psycho power.



Neutral Special: Mist Finer
Johnny's signature attack. By holding down neutral special, Wakamoto will sheath his sword and attack his opponent at any given time, once neutral special is released. Wakamoto can pivot left or right while his sword is sheathed.

Forward Special: Psycho Crusher
M. Bison's signature attack. Depending on how long you hold down forward special will determine how far Wakamoto will travel and the amount of damage Wakamoto can deal.

Up Special: Genocide Cutter
One of Rugal Bernstein's signature attacks. A kick with an upward momentum that can deal up to 2 hits at most, and deals a significant amount of hitstun. Can be canceled into any other special.

Down Special: Emperor
Hol Horse's stand. Wakamoto will draw his gun, to which you can freely shoot at any given target, wherever you aim the reticle. Can be canceled by pressing shield.

CV Wakamoto has a few notable moves that can be performed under certain conditions.


in the same vein as Igniz from KoF 01', Wakamoto can shoot a Yoshinoya bowl projectile, which can be performed by pressing both attack and special while grounded.


Wakamoto can build up meter by crouching and holding taunt.


A command grab that can be performed by pressing special during a taunt.

CV Wakamoto can perform supers, all of which can be triggered when Wakamoto's meter is full.

"Memorial"
Wakamoto will rushdown the opponent, and unleash a barrage of attacks before he deals the finishing blow. Can be activated by pressing taunt + attack.


"Kamehameha"
Wakamoto can perform a Kamehameha by pressing taunt + special.


While this character is mostly completely as of right now, I do plan to keep updating this character post release, with more moves, supers, and some revamps. However, that's only if time allows it.
