The Sidereal

The Sidereal is a fully featured character mod.
A lady of two sides, the Sidereal will need to build two decks at the same time, a Night deck and a Day deck. During combat, Night will turn to Day, and Day back again to Night. During Nighttime, the Sidereal will invoke the planets of our Solar System to revolve around her. Day is the time of explosive plays en blinding the enemy.
The Sidereal comes with 11 relics and 3 potions.

Day and Night:
Each combat starts at Night, and your draw pile will be built from only your Night cards. A special 'Sunrise' card will be added to the bottom of your draw pile, which will advance the time to Day. When time advances to Day, all your Night cards will be removed from play, and your Day cards are shuffled into your draw pile. For each Night card removed from hand this way, you draw a replacement card from your new draw pile. Finally, a special 'Nightfall' card is added to the bottom of your draw pile, which will advance time to Night again. Building two complimentary decks and manipulating the Day-Night cycle is central to the Sidereal's strategy.
You can distinguish Day cards from Night cards by each card's border color.

Invoking the Planets:
Many of the Sidereal's Night cards will Invoke one of the planets of our Solar System. When a planet is Invoked, a copy of that planet's card is shuffled into your draw pile. In general, planets are Ethereal cards that you may want to keep from exhausting; most planets do not appreciate being forgotten, and will harm you when exhausted. You can see which planets you are invoking from the orbs circling above the Sidereal's head.

Spinning cards:
Some of the Sidereal's cards have Spin; when a card with Spin is drawn, you draw another card! Most cards that Spin only do so a limited number of times. The indicator below a card's energy cost will show how much Spin a card has left.

Blinding your enemies:
The Sidereal applies a new status effect to her enemies, 'Blinded'. Whenever you deal Attack Damage to a Blinded enemy, it will either (during Day) deal damage to the enemy equal to its Blinded value, or (at Night) give you Block equal to its Blinded value. An enemy's Blinded gets reduced by 1 whenever it receives Attack Damage.
