I would love to create a final version for all 3 SOG maps, and have it work so that players can select in the parameters what Alive version they want (medical and no medical), switching on headless client spawning or server side spawning, and other options like that.
It would reduce the amount of versions per map from 4 each map to just 1. But honestly I have no idea how to do that or if its possible.
Any help would be great, and honestly people are free to edit these missions and upload them. All I did was create a mission that I would enjoy playing then uploaded it for everyone, its free to edit as people see fit.
There is also a specific LAMBS SOG RPG module out there that works well with these missions. I highly recommend trying it.
As for the missions, this specific version is the only one that has DMP missions . All the others rely on Alive, and player initiative to do their own thing.
I have the missions set to spawn when players interact with the radio behind the arsenal. Its marked on the map, just give the mission a minute to generate. After that the radio will have the option to spawn missions (both the HALO jump and mission spawner are hocked up to the same radio).
Also, if you ever want a hand compiling all the various maps you have out there and updating them let me know, I do alot of modding in other games but Ive worked in arma mission making before(I created my own script for helo landing when smoke is spotted before one was available but I never released). cheers and good work!
But in general all the FOBs are still under blufor control in all versions. The latest version just has all the assets in one location to make the performance better. You can still use other FOBs as a base if you want, they all still have the arsenals in place.
The older versions of this map should have a spawn point in each FOB. If not Zeus slot is able to place down a spawn point in those FOBs if you need to.
