Damascus Meitou Weapons

描述
A mod that gives Meitou weapons a distinct look.

Issues:

Texture mapping is weird on some weapons. The guardless katana for instance has no area the flat / handle is mapped onto, so it is entirely Black. Similarly, the polearm is entirely damascus.

Credit:

- Texture mapping done with the help of Meitou texture template (Thanks to ChaotixFox[JP])
- Handle texture pulled from Meitou Recolour: Dust Gold (Thanks to Talonn).

4th image is the raw texture, you can save if you open steam from a browser. if you wish to edit, you must replace the "damascus.dds" with your new texture. Lower the opacity and save as a .dds.

That's odd, Damascus isn't located on Kenshi's moon when I check Google maps.

Jokes aside, if you care about being more lore-friendly, I'd suggest renaming it from "Damascus" but keep the word "Damascus" on the modpage so it still appears when searched.
Patternwelded steel, or more properly called "Crucible steel" started off in India, so perhaps you could call them "Crucible [InsertWeaponName]" which sounds even cooler than Damascus to me.

Can i use this texture in my Deathstroke Expansion for it unique weapons?

Thank for the info, i tested it, and it did work with mod using vanilla texture, but if it have it's own custom texture then it wont have this texture, very cool indeed

from what i remember its just a texture replacer, so any weapons that use the meitou texture will get the skin. Comes down to whether or not a mod uses that image. mod order might matter as well idk, i havent modded kenshi in 2 years
