This mod requires More Dogs

Council of Bonedogs is an add-on for the wonderful mod More Dogs by Hoser and Ririko; go check it out.

Oh boy, where do I start?

Council of Bonedogs adds a Councillor, or ruler, of each breed of Bonedog. These Councillors are unique animals tied to a world-state. When the player kills any of these, the roaming patrols of the corresponding breed are reduced in size as well as given a dialogue option for the player to recruit them. Councillor dens have been placed in fixed locations in each of the ranges of the breeds they represent.

Each breed's faction have now been given relations to other breeds, allowing for some border conflicts between allies and enemies. Killing the Councillor of any breed does not affect these relations or borders, apart from the effects of reduced numbers in each pack.

The Councillors are supposed to be rather challenging boss fights, so hopefully the recruitment isn't too overpowered of a reward for killing them.

This is my largest mod yet, so if you find any mistakes, be sure to leave them in the comments!

Guys, the mod description does not state that you can tame a councilor; it says that after you kill it, you'll be able to recruit the subspecies of dog that it ruled over.
Though I'm not sure how that works, I assume it makes them neutral and allows you to talk to roaming squads?

I beat up the dog and healed him put "Dune Dog Councillor" In a rusted cage dont seem to have a talking option. I was able to tame normal dune dogs?

@Lunaris "more dogs" mod shows a map of the locations, not exact but if you wonder a little, shouldn't be hard to spot the den.

Ok so, I placed the white bonedog councilor into a cage, a pole, no luck, I have all the required mods. in fact I have other mods for pets that allow for animal capture, still no luck.

Please look into this.

I have noticed the image here doesn't have a labeled name for the what looks to be a savanah hound, are the Council dogs labeled as such or are they just higher stated Alphas?
