AK-12 5.45 mm Variant

That's right! The Apex AK-12 is actually the AK-15. This mod adds seperate variants of the AK-12 that use the 5.45x39 mm cartridge, including the AKU-12 and RPK in all color variations.

All of the above are available in black, arid and lush variants.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE RHSAFRF MOD: It adds tons of new magazines and more importantly: 5.45 mm suppessors which are NOT in Vanilla! I may add 5.45 suppressors at some point but for now, use the RHS ones.

Disclaimer

All variants of the AK-12 5.45 mm will have the default AK-12 icon in the Arsenal and inventory, but will have their respective skins ingame. This is because Bohemia hasn't unlocked the Contact DLC files yet for me to make custom icons but I will probably update them once the EBOs are unlocked.

Compatibility

All weapons can take any modded magazine that is configured with the right MagazineWell (RHS, NiArms and CUP work for example). I've tried making the accessory slots work with other mods but I can't garantee that every mod works (once again, RHS works).

Language

The weapons are all translated to every available language of Arma 3, the magazines are only translated to English, French, Spanish and German, all other languages will default to English.

Weapon Statistics

Stats are mostly the same as the 7.62 AK-12, only inertia and some others have been modified to reflect the lighter weight. Below are the weight (units) and muzzle velocities (m/s):
- AK-12: 130 Units, 900 m/s
- AK-12 GL: 150 Units, 900 m/s
- AKU-12: 100 Units, 735 m/s
- RPK-16: 150 Units, 920 m/s
