like they said, this mod should be compatible with all new versions of the game as long as new map modes aren't added. I don't play CK3 regularly so I don't always know when it's breaking. I will update it ASAP but still, expect warnings about it being outdated in the future
Either make a mod yourself, or make a dirty edit (directly modify the file).
The file is map_modes.txt located in game\gfx\map\map_modes
Look at the commented out tags. #hollow near look for the gradients for inside. Set those to 1 or .5 or whatever you want. 0 is devoid of color, 1 is a full fill of the proper map color.
Looks to me you need to change 2 things. Flat Map, is 0.8 so it will be 80% color so mostly color, if you want, set that to 1. The other is under #hollow near. Change this hollow_near_gradient_alpha_inside = 0 to 1 or .8 or whatever.
Best way to do this, IMO, is likely to make a local copy of this mod. Then delete the original map_modes.txt file for this mod, copy current file from the game in, and then make the edits. Voila.
However, this is likely still working unless new map modes were added.
