Mom Character

描述
This mod adds both Mom and Mother as playable characters in the game! I was surprised to not find a single mom character mod on the workshop, and decided to go ahead and make one myself.

- MOM -
Mom starts with Mom's knife, 2 red hearts, and 8 broken hearts, essentially lowering the maximum amount of hearts you can carry for a while. Mom's Knife also starts with a heavy damage reduction, so steamrolling through runs might not be as easy as you think!

- MOTHER -
Also known as Tainted Mom, Mother also starts with Mom's Knife, this time significantly stronger, while also taking longer to charge up. Mother's secondary gimmick is Rotten Luck, meaning that all dropped hearts will turn into rotten hearts! Other heart variants are still obtainable through various items, but healing suddenly becomes a lot harder than it normally would be.

also yes I know Magdalene is already Mom as a character but I wanted to make this mod anyways lmao

you can already play as mom without mods. magdalene is the name of the mother, as you can hear in the fighting, in the ascent stage of the game, before home you can you isaac's father say "SHUT UP MAGGY, JUST SHUT UP!"

Starting with a top tier tear replacment item seems a tiny bit OP, Sure the low damadge does help but nah this a bit too much for me. Great mod though

Just for mom, as it doesn't actually modify mom's knife itself, but just stars the character with a damage down
