EMD E8 Amtrans Commuter

Amtrak was formed on May 1, 1971 to take over passenger services from private railroads across the US due to decline in service. Amtrak provides medium and long-distance intercity service in the contiguous United States and to nine Canadian cities. This train is modeled after the Midnight livery on EMD E8 locomotives. The commuter cars are modeled after Budd Gallery cars. This is a pride livery based off the Day 1 Amtrak paint scheme with the original stripe that forms the Amtrak logo recolored with the trans flag colors.

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0
