描述
This is an abstract aquatic map, designed for sandbox, NPC Combat, and flight, containing a Navmesh and using the maximum number of ai nodes possible to add (4096). The skybox and ocean are as tall and deep as can be done in Source. Contains :

  • A deep pit which has a button to turn it into a Volcano. Pressing the button causes anything within the pit to come flying out violently.
  • A catapult which can launch props vast distances.
  • Several multi-purpose islands off of the main island, including an island with a bunker on it which contains a toggleable Half Life 2 Sniper Nest.
  • A large Submarine Pen
  • Several multipurpose buildings, lots of interconnected platforms and tunnels, and overall a lot more, including secrets and many physics-based gimmicks.

HDR and LDR are both supported. There are a lot of things in this map, it's hard for me to cover everything in this description and in the screenshots. This certainly isn't the nicest looking map in the world (It's definitely a bit of a mess), but I'm personally very happy with it regardless, it fills all the ticks I enjoy in a map, and I hope you like it as well. There are a lot of things here I haven't seen done before.

Pushing an update to the map in a few minutes, played around and added a few things as well, 3D skybox became more effort than it was worth to do though unfortunately

:steamfacepalm: Thanks for letting me know, now that vvis++ is a thing, I'll definitely look into recompiling the map and seeing if I can fix a few problems in the map

after the recent update to gm_construct water about skybox reflections in beta, the water texture is broken in this map and reflections are greasing on the water when the camera is moving, just to make you aware.

@Wuewue Gumi I'll look into it, I noticed the button that toggles the lights in that dark room on the main shore stopped working as well, super weird, I'll update to fix soon, thanks for sending a message about it
