Unique Trait: Universal Monarchy
Excess Influence with Allied City-States converts to Golden Age Points (whilst above 90). Declaring War during a Golden Age grants the stored Faith, Gold, and Military Units of your Allied City-States.

Unique Unit: Ambassador
The Ambassador is the unique Great Merchant for Holy Rome under Charles V. Unlike the regular Great Merchant, the Ambassador generates less influence and gold when completing a Diplomatic Mission with a City-State and cannot be used to build a Customs House. However, this unit may be purchased just as any regular unit, and can be upgraded at the cost of gold into a Great Ambassador. Send out a steady stream of Ambassadors to secure your influence over the world's City-States.

Unique Unit: Doppelsoldner
The Doppelsoldner is Holy Rome's unique Landsknecht replacement when Charles V is their leader. Stronger than the Landsknecht, particularly when attacking Lancers, Spearmen, and Pikemen, it costs twice as much to purchase. The Doppelsoldner can be purchased either standalone or in a group of three Landsknecht. All units purchased with a Doppelsoldner may move immediately after purchase, although they cannot be trained with production. Unlike the Landsknecht, the Doppelsoldner does not require a Social Policy to be bought. Although costly, the purchase of a Doppelsoldner, particularly in groups with Landsknecht, can provide a devastating and swift military advantage during the mid-game.
