I like these old sounds. ;)
Personally, I still like the Crystal Clear packs better, but I just thought I would make these for people who have different opinions. Feel free to extract this and reuse them, and don't credit me for them; the sounds are the original sounds that VALVe made.

also it'd be nice if the cardboard footsteps were changed to the carpet ones since a lot of Goldsrc maps use the cardboard material for carpet for some reason

The wood footsteps are the concrete footsteps

The menu sounds you should've used launch_glow 1, launch_select1, launch_select2 imo. That would've probably made it for me.

On some (Almost all) user servers, the sound of steps does not change, everything else works stably, do you know if it can be fixed?

You need to restart your game. It sounds like you probably installed the pack while you had already been playing.
If not, then your downloaded file is corrupt and you’ll need to delete it from the Garry’s Mod folder and try again

If it doesn't work, just type snd_restart into the console, that should fix it.

the smg grenade explosion sound is weird, can you change it to a normal explosion sound?
