Companies do that with literally anything. The company that makes american flags isn't patriotic, they just see a source of income. That is how capitalism works.

@Astro i most definitely understand the cause of it but companies are in fact using it as a meal ticket to cash in on their profits. Thats my point it is being exploited and used upon a group of people.

Pride itself, no, it's not just a marketing thing. Companies use it as that sure, but overall it's a time of visibility, rememberance, celebration of progress, and a protest. It exists today to show yes we have come far but there is also still work to do. The first pride march was in 1969 and I don't see a whole lot of companies from that time being that on board with the whole pride movement.

@AquilaSol not at all ive been playing since sim city however i just think the whole pride bs is just used as a marketing tactic by all these corporations they dont really care about lgbt
