EMD GP10

描述
The EMD GP10 is a road switcher diesel-electric locomotive that is the result of rebuilding a GP7, GP9 or GP18.

The Illinois Central Railroad had three separate rebuild programs to upgrade their old EMD GPs and GPs that they had purchased from equipment dealers such as Precision National Corporation in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The first was the GP8, second the GP10 and third the GP11. All were rebuilt at IC/ICG's Paducah Shops in Kentucky.

HP Ranges from 1750hp - 1850hp per unit.

could you make a GP8?

@sunnhead60 Yes I found that they did make them 2000hp but all were 1850hp afterwords. Also awsome I will have to look and see the others. They are a little tricky with the Materials but these port over nice!

Nice work! I made these models originally for MSTS. Since I use TSM to build them, they are stuck in MSTS until someone else comes along to convert them to other platforms. You are welcome to convert any of my models at trainsim over to TF2.
These two GP10s are from the early years of the program, 1967-68. 8009 might have been 2,000 hp when it was rebuilt, but they found that the engine cooling system was insufficient when working hard. 1,850 hp was more ideal for reliable performance, so 8009 was reduced and all of the GP10s and GP11s were 1,850 hp after that.
