Now the book's sprite is more reminiscent of its effects.

Make sure to leave your feedback in the comments, and don't hesitate to recommend any other sprite tweaks you would like to see from me in the future!



For your convenience, I'm uploading every sprite tweak separately, so that if you don't like some of them, . After I receive enough feedback, tweak my redesigns, and make the requested ones, and remove the ones that don't work, I will compile them into one big mod :)

According to the wiki:
" Book of Secrets cannot give mapping effects that Isaac already has. If he has every mapping effect active, Book of Secrets gives the effect of X-Ray Vision for that floor when used. If Curse of the Lost or an Amnesia pill is active on a floor, it will give the X-Ray Vision effect immediately."
Can you somehow add the X-Ray Vision if this is possible? Or Make a book sprite that is "open" and shows them?

Just an idea, when you do the compilation mod, you could make it compatible with the mod options menu so that you can disable any you don't like.

I love this one, it just looks so cute! But I was thinking that maybe instead of an X marking the spot, it could be a ? instead, to be more consistent with the name perhaps? It doesn't feel too secret-y this way.

We (or I) need a collection, just need one mod to enjoy the all content (of course, we can still keep alone mod as a single choice)

@ﾏｯｸｽ I think the blue map's cool, you have a point about the compass tho.

Personally, I dig the old sprite simply because of familiarity (and the "secrets" theme) but this is quite the lovely little resprite imo. Wouldn't change it (outside of maybe the compass) even if I don't necessarily use it.
