Rebalanced Greed Machine

A version of Rebalanced Greed Machine that is updated to work with Repentance.

Greed mode always felt way too brutal to me. You go through 60 waves of enemies and bosses, trying to rack up enough coins for the special greed mode unlocks, then you go and beat the torture that is the Ultra Greed boss fight! Yay!

Then you donate two or three coins and the machine jams.

Of course you could play the mode as a different character and get a less chance for the machine to jam but... why? Why even impart that restriction? You still need to play the gamemode as all the characters to get their character-specific greed/greedier unlocks, so it's not like there isn't even any reason to play as other characters.

This problem gets even worse with how insane Greedier mode is.


I have created a small mod that does a few things to hopefully lessen these issues:

- The machine is now "protected" by my mod. If the machine jams, the game state will be reverted back to unjammed and the machine will be respawned in an unjammed state.

- You can donate up to 10 coins without worrying about the machine jamming.

- In greedier mode you can donate up to 15 coins.

- Each point of luck you have adds 1 extra coin you can donate without worrying. Negative luck removes 1 coin each.

- After donating the amount of coins, any additional coins you donate adds a 1% chance for my mod to lift its protections and to let the game do its own jam chance stuff again.


With these changes you should always be able to donate a hefty amount coins every time you play greed mode, more coins if you're lucky and if you beat the harder mode.
