Bobby Roode (TNA)

Bobby Roode signed with TNA in 2004 and debuted as part of the Team Canada stable, a team competing in the World X-Cup.

Roode broke off onto his own in 2006 and transitioned into a singles wrestler. His gimmick became that of a stock market trader. He led Robert Roode Inc. alongside Ms. Brooks for a few years before finding greater success in a new tag team.

In 2008, Roode began teaming up with James Storm as Beer Money, Inc. The duo won the TNA World Tag Team titles five times.

Both men got involved in the TNA World Heavyweight Title picture during 2011. Roode competed in the Bound for Glory Series in 2011, which he won to earn a title shot. However, he fell short in his match against Kurt Angle to win the belt. Roode was line for a rematch, but the match instead went to his partner, Storm, who defeated Angle to win the World Heavyweight title. Roode faced his partner in a match for the belt shortly after on Impact, and he turned on Storm by breaking a beer bottle over his head to win his first TNA World Heavyweight championship, ending the team.

Roode would go on hold the title on two occasions as a singles wrestler again. Beer Money briefly reformed in 2015 before Roode left TNA for WWE.
