Updated and working with Stellaris version 3.4 ("Cepheus" update).

FAQs
Is it Ironman / achievement compatible?
Yes, this mod is completely compatible to earn you achievements if you play with it—on any game version.

Does the AI use these?
Not really; the AI can, when using user-made custom-created empires, use the room you assigned to it, and can appear in the game with them. There may be errors in loading these custom rooms for AI empires at first contact, in which case reloading the save/game should resolve them.

Is the mod savegame compatible / can I load it after starting a new game?
Not really, removing this mod after a game has started may lead you to have a black, void-like ruler room. Adding this mod into an existing game may change which rooms all of the empires use. Similarly, upon loading this mod, most of the rooms you selected for your custom empires will need to be re-selected since the number of rooms has changed.

Who made these and am I able to download any of the backgrounds?
The fantastic artists working on PDS' Stellaris, Stellaris Galaxy Command, and Stellaris Galaxy Edition made these. You can check out and download (HD/4k) most of the images here[imgur.com]. I, in no way, shape or form, own any credit to the making of the images used within the mod.

@Avenn -- Ah, sorry about that! I don't have the DLC so I didn't know about the new room, it'll get added to the menu and selection with the next update.

Sounds good! I meant the fact that the Aquatics room can't be chosen in the menu when I said updated for the Aquatics DLC. At least when I checked, the list ended at Necroids.

@Avenn -- This should work with the current version of the game, yup! There may be a version error, but it can be safely ignored for now, I'll update that soon. Do let me know if you encounter any errors.

Hello! I wanted to ask a curious question: will this be updated for the Aquatics DLC by chance? A tool like this a godsend for a dummy like me who always somehow manages to forget to change the room before starting a game, and which I've done with an empire on a REALLY good start that I don't want to reroll.

@omzh -- This is a problem due to the size of the images used in the game as event and anomalies pictures, which is fairly small. I can try to look for higher-resolution images elsewhere and updating them if I do.

Would it be possible to have a higher resolution mode to be more compatible with the UI Overhaul Dynamic Mod? I ran into a problem where the backgrounds don't look great in the bigger menus:

As I added more rooms, you idea is unfortunately not possible.
I will surely link you as well as your mod tho.
After the last update, I don't use many of your rooms tho just ~5-10.

@Nanderty -- Would it be possible to put this mod in the requirements for the workshop item then, and just use the ones made here? If yes, I'd appreciate so. Otherwise, you're free to just rip them and add a link in the description, yup!

I am planning to upload a mod similar to this, which does two things different:
It replaces the vanilla rooms, so all empires automatically spawn in new rooms.
It is compatible with More AI Personalities
I am planning on reusing some of the rooms included in this.
I know you didn't create the artworks, but you still had the work of resizing and reexporting them.
Do I have the permission to use them(obviously with proper credit to you and the artist)?
