SERVER SIDE ADDON

Provides an interface for playing sound files (tested with mp3s).


Bind a key to +AudioEmotePanel_Show to open the interface. It can be used to mute/unmute the sounds and reset the preferences (most used sounds will appear to the front of the list).


Add sounds with the following pattern:

sound\AudioEmotes\[CATEGORY]\SoundFileName.mp3

Sounds must be present on BOTH client and server in order to appear.


If you wish to restrict the playing of sounds (for example, to VIPs) define a function on your server as follows:

function AE.HasPermission( ply ) return playerHasPermission end

If this is not defined, all players will be allowed to use the addon.
