Description
The solar map will project the world coordinates of planets and the grid unto a text panel in the form of a 2D map, along with detailed information regarding planets and moons.

Features
  • Multiple Screens:
    • Solar system map with information panel.
    • Solar system map without information panel.
    • Information panel without solar system map.
    • Planetary map with information panel and grid arrow.
  • Automatically detects distance from planets, planet radius, atmosphere, oxygen and ores.
  • Automatically hides overlapping planets depending on grid distance.
  • The grid's position in the world appears as red dot on the map.

Disclaimer
The SolarMap Mod should in theory detect custom planets, including some custom ores, but the mod is originally created for the "Star System" world and original ores. Moons are only visible on the planetary map. Currently does not work in cockpits.

### **Mod Discontinuation Notice**

Due to my recent switch to Linux for security reasons, and the lack of a stable version of *Space Engineers* on that platform, I will no longer be able to maintain my mods.

Keen Software House and the *Space Engineers* community are free to use, modify, and redistribute my mods under different names.

I make a distinction between the mods I create and the products I build professionally — mods are meant to be shared freely for learning and creative use.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and enjoyed my work.

AHA. You can't use this with plugin loader. It just doesn't work. That's a shame.

Awesome! Many thanks mate! I'll give it a go. Though I do have it hosted on my dedicated server and in my 'player' modlist and no cigar. Or do you mean it has to be a script for it to work?

@Boobies It will not work in multiplayer unless it's hosted by the server. There is an in-game script version for this, but it's older and not maintained. Search for "Skimt's SolarMap Script (Discontinued)".

Looks like this is non-functional. I do hope somone has the interest in getting it to work with 'apps' so that it shows up. Such a shame it doesn't atm as it looks like a great mod

Hi guys, does this mod still work? I tried adding it, then setting up a 3x3 LCD and I can't see anything under script. Are there any pre-requisites or special instructions?

zernon cockpits don't work, it says this in the description

I am not getting any info on the lcd screen or cockpit panel. Am I missing something? I did set it to the center screen, and keyboard, and neither work.
