Mewtwo

描述
Mewtwo joins the battle! Use their psychic abilities and quick teleportation to confound your foes. A fully playable character that is designed and balanced for competitive play.

Specials:

Up Special: Teleport. Hold down the button to travel farther, or tap it to travel a short distance and act quickly after, without entering pratfall. When the short version is used from the ground, you can use it an additional time before landing.

Side Special: Confusion. Gain a boost in the air while summoning a vortex which stuns foes in place, allowing you to follow up with a throw. Press forward, down, or up after landing this move to execute powerful throws.

Neutral Special: Shadowball. Charge up 6 levels of this powerful projectile, which can lead to combos at low charges, or become an early kill move at full charge. Press special again to fire, or cancel with shield or jump.

Down Special: Disable. Ruin your opponents day by preventing them from using their most recent attack for 5 seconds, or 2.5 seconds if it's a special. The low hitstun makes it risky onstage, but is extremely effective when edgeguarding.

it/its is usually for objects or creatures, however, they/them isn't exclusively used as a plural word, and is often used for creatures and humans, and mewtwo has been shown many times to be very human, dispite being a creature, which is a common theme with many pokemon species's personalities.

from what I can tell, Mewtwo can infinite with rapid jab. I tried messing with things like SDI in the practice room, but it always locked the cpu in there indefinitely.

Also a minor nitpick here, but since Mewtwo is an it as mentioned by another user, wouldt it make more sense to use it/its instead of they/them? Normally I wouldn't consider the "but 'they' means more than one" to be a valid point, but in this context, they/them does imply multiple Mewtwos.

ohhhhh i didn't even play the char yet and i'm just imagining how broken down b is for edgeguarding

it DISABLES your up-b, thats so awesome!!!

also thank you for basing his moves on actual pokémon moves, that's something not a lot of pokémon do in fighting games

Its currently working for me in the version I just used to update, so I'm not sure what to tell you. Pressing N special and then special again should work.

Keblakev, did you try pressing special, shield, or jump to cancel the move? If pressing those buttons doesnt work, thats an issue.
