Slower Slave Market

NOTE: According to the 3.3 patch notes, the "AI will no longer instantly buy ever single slave pop on the slave market". Hopefully, this should mean that this mod is now obsolete! As such, I'll be keeping this mod on 3.2. for now.

However, for versions 3.3 or greater, this mod in its current state should still work in slowing AI down even further. I originally tuned this mod when the AI was inhumanly fast, so using this mod for versions 3.3 or greater may result in a surplus of slaves on the market.



Slows down the rate at which the AI buys slaves from the Slave Market. This should reduce slaves from "flashing" on the slave market due to AI empires buying slaves instantly.

Mod is compatible with 3.2.* and almost all other mods, as long as they don't make changes to the slavery policies.

The mod slows down the AI by forcing the AI through periods of being able to buy and not being able to buy slaves, at around 2 day and 100 day intervals respectively. This is accomplished by forcing the AI to cycle slavery policies between its normal policy and a policy where slaves cost 10 million times more. It's honestly a very janky method, and if anyone has a better method/mod that does this, please hit me up.
