This mod adds a selection of passage blocks / corridor blocks to the game that are much sleeker than the existing vanilla and DLC ones. They are based on the corridors in the game Subnautica and have a smooth, minimalistic and futuristic design you might also find in Sci-Fi universes like Mass Effect or Star Trek.

AQD - A Quantum of Depth is a project of mine, encompassing multiple small and larger mods aimed at improving the gameplay experience and eventually overhauling larger parts of the game:





6 Sleek Corridor Blocks
These blocks are large grid only (no plans to change this) and while they can be painted, they do not support skins. This is not a matter of being able to or not, but a conscious choice by me: I do not like the way skins look on the block. As such, I do not plan to change this either.

  • I will likely expand the list of blocks in the future, but I will not just add variations for the sake of it. Any additions will be considered carefully and I'm not looking to add more than a handful of additional blocks.

I was wondering, since you mentioned the possibility of adding more options later on, perhaps you could consider adding ramped corridors? For pressurized walkways that can take you up and down a level. Stair variant and ramp variant perhaps.

If pressure issues happen, a 2x2 cube box could be made to encompass the entire rampway to prevent accidental pressure spots outdoors. Not sure how much control modders have over pressure zones.

Can you add "lighted" versions to the window, T, and X as well? (and a door in middle of a straight and door on side of T set as well [so they match the style])

There is a striking similarity between Signals DLC corridor and these subnautica sleek corridors, but more variety and options are a good thing overall. I love love love this mod.

Oh I only saw the thumbnail bits in the steam news. It just reminded me of yours and stuff and I had a hard time telling the difference from memory. :P

No there isn't. Those blocks look completely different and I also don't own the copyright on smooth corridor blocks.

In fact, I am very much happy for players to have more options to choose from.

Stop trying to stir up drama on behalf of other people.

There's a DLC of this mod now. :O :O

I hate when DLC happens to look almost exactly the same as mods. xD
