A replacement for the original keen door. This mod will replace existing doors with this version. It also includes an offset and glass versions

Only the original basic door is replaced with a different model. There are additional options for offset and glass variants but those do not replace anything vanilla

it will just add the designchange that is for the vanilla door its for onto the vanilla door so that it gets the look but all other types will be there as additional possible doors to build.

if i add this mod to a current save file, will it automatically replace any vanilla doors with these?

There is only one variant that this will override
The glass and offset doors are new additions

which variants of the doors did you use?
if its one of the additional variants they wil be gone, if its one of the replacing varints they should change over to the nonreplaced version.

@Chipstix213 so I mentioned it because I tested it, loaded a world without it, added the mod, placed a bunch of doors, saved, exit, removed the mod, loaded and the doors from the mod are gone, not changed to vanilla.

It is a replacement, with extra varents.
Removing the mod will restore the original models

Is there a way to make this a replacer/retexture? As in when I add this mod it just changes the current doors to look like this, if I remove this mod, it makes the doors still be there just the vanilla.

Yes, except for their only being large blocks
