The SAL AD15 is an amphibious transport truck developed by Società di Armature Leggere (SAL) for the commercial market & Dominion Ground Forces.


SAL had created a solid automotive foundation with the CA15 & BA15. Seeking to expand their offerings, SAL created a wider and higher wheelbase chassis (still having parts commonality with CA15) modified from the original design.
Design work lasted from approximately mid ████ to ████.

The first vehicle created from the new chassis was AD15, with a wide flatbed for storing cargo, folding side & rear panels for ease of cargo handling, and 3-crew seating for
lengthy supply runs.
The vehicle was chiefly a private, commercial venture by SAL. However, it was made with the primary customer being the Dominion Ground Forces.

The vehicle was made available for sale on █████, ████.

• The vehicle will drift/slide excessively. The tires have very low side friction to keep the vehicle from tipping during high-speed turns.
  
• During aquatic operation, the vehicle may begin bouncing excessively. Reducing speed can reduce this.
  
• The vehicle may begin 'jumping' upon spawning. A re-load of the vehicle can solve this.
  
• Both machine guns are operated by the assistant driver, on group 1. The reserve driver/radio operator can operate the anti-air MG at the same time if needed.
  
• Please take care of your crew.
  
• The vehicle sits very low in the water during aquatic operation. This is normal. Closing the cab's top hatches can improve crew comfort, but the AA machine gun will have to be stowed for full cab closure.
