DB BR 215

German Class 215 diesel locomotive capable of 140 kph. Developed as interim before the Class 218 was available, the 215 were a faster variant of the V 160 (Class 216) which still had steam heating equipment rather than the electric system found on the newer 218. The lack of an electric train supply saw them withdrawn starting around 2000, by 2008 the last unit was withdrawn from regular service. 68 units were modified for use as cargo engine and designated Class 225 (steam heating removed), a few of which are still in service today.

Included are presets for regional and long-distance trains in a 1970s/1980s livery.

Configurations are possible for 570 to 2178 PAX (1321 max at normal station length)

Long distance:
Am 202 1st-class coach
ARmh 216 1st-class/dining coach
ABm 223 mixed-class coach
Bm 234 2nd-class coach
BDms 273 2nd-class baggage coach

Configurations are possible for 168 to 894 PAX, a second engine is select-able and recommended for longer trains.
