Real competition names: Premier Liga, Futbolnaya Natsionalnaya Liga, Professionalnaya Futbolnaya Liga, Tretii Divizion, Chetviortyi Divizion, Kubok Rossii, Kubok Prestizha, Champions League, Europa League.

How are the teams ranked?
> The clubs are arranged according to their 2020 ranking, with the promoted teams before those relegated from the upper division.
> The clubs in PFL (3rd level, which was organized in 5 groups with different numbers of teams last season) are ranked according to a ratio points/matches. The majority are in the mod.
> The reserve team (such as Spartak-2 or Kazanka Moskva for Lokomotiv) are not included.
> About the transcription from Cyrillic, I mostly followed the English rules, with some personal alterations, mostly the way I put an apostrophe to indicate the palatalization ь after a consonant. I also preferred to transcribe ФК with FK rather than FC (how we do in France rather than the English way), and Москва literally into Moskva rather than Moscow. Because of a lack of space, I also changed Chayka Peschanokopskoye into Chayka Peschanokopskoie and KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny into KAMAZ Naberejnye Chelny.
