There were timber wolves. There were corpses. At some point, the wolves evolved to grow corpses. Why? Because the gods have abandoned us here on the Rim.

Corpse wolves are identical to timber wolves, minus the corpse growing out of their back.

Corpse Pustules and Corpse Jelly:

A corpse wolf will drop a corpse pustule upon death (as long as the back corpse is not destroyed). Colonists can use a butchers table/spot to harvest corpse jelly from a corpse pustule. Each pustule contains 40 jelly. While it does provide nutrition, colonists will be unhappy if they have to eat corpse jelly.



Corpse wolves have a chance of spawning in Ocular Forests if you have Sarg Bjornson's Alpha Biomes installed.



All the sprites are based on the basic Rimworld timber wolf. Feel free to do whatever you want with the mod!

wtf, this is so stupid.. I love it. This is the kind of content that makes the game fun and goofy. I cant wait to see one in my game. :bummer::stern:

How about you kinda copy those fission mouse things from... Alphaanimals, I think?
Make it so that when the wolf dies the corpse (spawns) detaches and makes a slow crawl to try attack your colonists. I assume this makes it possible for the thing to drop both wolf and human meat.

@Big Juicy Doug you might want to see if you can somehow repurpose the code for horns to get the two meats to drop. i don't know much about this stuff so, sorry if this does not work.
