Since the Outer Planets Consolidation began using the Ant series ships, one of the most popular unit has been the mobile passenger transport unit (MPTU). This unit, designed to accommodate up to 6 crew members, is primarily used for the rapid transport of passengers between ships and stations. Thanks to the standard connector, MPTU can be used by various types of ships without the need to develop new technical solutions, and the simplicity of the design makes it possible to assemble and repair this unit in the field.
The MPTU has its own oxygen tank, which allows it to be used with ships with an independent cargo capture system (such as ANT-MT ships), but the oxygen reserves in such cases will be sufficient only for short-term transportation. 6 batteries also provide the necessary power for each capsule and the entire unit as a whole.
