The ocean of stars in our galaxy is finally within our reach... The universe lies ahead of us, waiting to be discovered. And now, at last, we have a gateway to ascend to it. Over and over again. - Kei Nagase

This is the International Space Elevator from Ace Combat 7 : Skies Unknown.

Lore

The International Space Elevator, also known as the Lighthouse, is a space elevator located off the coast of Selatapura in southwestern Usea. Its primary purpose is to transmit solar energy collected in the atmosphere, convert it into microwaves, and distribute this energy to numerous power plants on Earth. The entire elevator is 100,000 kilometers high, with the base structure being 11 kilometers high. It is protected by 2 unmanned airborne aircraft carriers which are electronically linked to the elevator, granting unlimited flight time.

The Lighthouse was conceived as a solution to some of the infrastructure problems on the Usean continent as a result of the Ulysses asteroid impact, multiple large-scale wars on the continent, and a widespread refugee crisis. Spearheaded by global superpower Osea, the project exacerbated tensions between Osea and continental power Erusea, leading up to the Lighthouse War in 2019.

Asset
    Ingame Statistics & Usage
  • 12x13 plot size (mesh is much larger)
  • $250,000.00 upfront cost
  • 4,000-20,000 MW production
  • ~1024m height
  • Works as a powerplant. Found in Electricity tab or use Find It! and type ISEV or International Space Elevator
  • Asset set to manual placement on water. Use anarchy mods/ Move It! to plop on land.
  • Use Ultimate Level of Detail & Camera Positions to view the top of the asset.

    Model Data

  • 15,266 tris
  • 1024 x 1024 d/s/a/n/i
  • ~1100 tris LOD
  • 128 x 128 d/s/a/n/i LOD

    Other Assets in Images

  • Konohana Bridge by Jerenable
  • Container Packs by Avanya
  • Container Straddle Carrier by cyricc
  • Images shot with Relight 2

Known Issues

Due to the size of the asset, the game camera will jump when passing near its center. Use TPB's Camera Positions Utility mod to disable building collision.

The asset will disappear from the screen if the camera looks away from the actual base of the asset. So far this only occurs when looking directly upward & away from the mesh, and when zooming in extremely close to the outer pylons/ docks.

Hope you enjoy this asset and find a good use for it in your builds.

Do you think you could make a version of this that functions like the vanilla Space Elevator monument? As in just works as tourist destination and arrival?

What is the artwork used at the base?

The ISEV was built by Gründer ? Ah hell, Harling was asking for that one.

finally I am able to go high enough to observe whether I can see any borders from up here

i get the concept but with physics i think we'd all know it would burn up, collapse, fall over, break apart etc.

That... kind of makes sense. The space elevator's lore explains that it draws solar energy, so theoretically stacking another one on top of it would block the sun from the solar panels, causing the facility to draw more power than it produces. Repeat that process 50 times and... well, there you go.

Unless what you mean is you put 50 side-by-side in the lake, not a giant tower of 50 of them.

If you want to know don't stack them, I (as an experiment) stacked like 50 of them in a lake which produced negative 1.4 million MW (-1,400,000 MW), so yeah.
