Inscription Square of Aug. 1 八一广场大字

位于江西省南昌市的八一广场，题词位于升旗台北侧，汉白玉镌刻着江泽民的题词“军旗升起的地方”，突出了南昌在中国革命中的特殊历史地位。升旗台的南侧，与之相对称的汉白玉镌刻着毛泽东手书“星星之火，可以燎原”，反映了井冈山道路对于中国革命胜利的意义。

Located in the Square of August 1st, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, the inscription written Jiang Zemin on the north side of the flag-raising platform reads "The Place Where the Military Flag Rises", highlighting the special historical position of Nanchang in the Chinese Revolution. On the south side of the flag-raising platform, the Chinese white jade engraved with Mao Zedong's handwriting "The fire of a star can start a prairie" reflects the significance of the Jinggang Mountain, once a key stronghold of the Chinese Revolution.
