Ruler Designer Unlocked

Annoyed that you cannot create a worthwhile character in the Ruler Designer DLC that you dropped five bucks on? Are Paradox’s weird cost restrictions making you play like a wounded excommunicated plague victim in order to have halfway decent stats on level with a vanilla starting ruler? This mod drops the cost of traits and adds a few more ones to the menu to give you some options. This puts the onus on you to create a balanced character rather than Paradox’s overzealous restrictions. Unless you want to make something bonkers. In which case, who cares? Have fun with it.

The mod does require the DLC, though! It doesn’t unlock the Ruler Designer for people who shouldn’t have it or give people DLC content that they shouldn’t have.

• Removes the cost for traits during the use of the Ruler Designer.
  
• Unlocks a few more traits for use in Ruler Designer.
  
• Several Add/Subtract Years Traits with an event to clear them after the start.
  
• Added RDU More Options Trait which allows you to start with some event troops and money of your choice or decide to be an immortal or animal ruler.
  
• Ironman compatible, achievements cannot be earned when playing with this mod.

• Compatible with CK2 Patch 3.3.4.
• Requires Ruler Designer DLC.
• I tried to make it as compatible as possible, but larger mods are unlikely to work without some fussing.
