"After the first upgrade of "Papa's Legacy" (patron), the game tells you to renovate your estate. According to Harold, you put Legacy, Estate and some cash into the Explore Verb. However, the slot for the estate seems to only accept the already renovated variant, "Oppulent Estate". Is this intentional?"
they made the same mistake I did, by doing things in the wrong order. The order is this:
- talk to Harold about the estate
- when it's time to make the decision, put Papa's Legacy in there.
- 'My Estate?' then becomes 'opulent estate'
- THEN you find a benefactor.
if you do the benefactor first, Papa's Legacy will no longer be usable for the purpose of keeping the house, because for some reason the game doesn't like if the card has 2 Marks of Opulence.
(@noicest dungeon might be a good idea to fix this.)
so yeah good luck y'all. hope this helps.
I throw a lavish party every chance I get, and nothing comes of it besides a little money, a socialite (slave), or a bit of notoriety. I do have Algernon, and he pays out a bit of cash here and there, but beyond that I have no idea.
The reporters show up, I send some a 'heart-felt message' out as per the prompt, and nothing. At this point I've battled two hunters, I'm combing the secrets of hundreds of books, I have plenty of cash from a cushy CEO job (or HAD a CEO job, anyway) and I've been balancing about 20 mystique from being an artist, yet still; no idea what to do with this mod.
What are these 'marks of opulence', how do I connect with Papa's friends, and - if need be - what do I do with these little bonuses that pop up for 0.9 seconds, vanishing almost immediately upon procurement?
