Fairbanks-Morse H-16-66 'Baby Trainmaster'

描述
'Manufactured by Fairbanks-Morse from 1951 until 1958 the H-16-66 was a 1600 horsepower road-switcher known by it's nickname, the 'Baby Train Master'. Unfortunately the locomotive sold poorly and only found a home with three railroads; Chicago & North Western, Milwaukee Road and Chicago, Minneapolis & Omaha, alongside one government customer and one industry customer. Over seven years only 59 were produced.'


Features a fully repaintable red version based on the 'Trainmaster' factory livery and the Chicago & North Western livery as the largest operator of the type having purchased a total of 55. Also has the Milwaukee Road livery now. The road numbers and number boards can be set using the 'Train Name' option, it can support up to 4 numbers. Left to its own devices the road numbers will increase by one for each single locomotive purchased. Custom ageing and rather heavy weathering, some sounds, fully reversible and reversed versions as well as placeable assets are also in there. Uses the Knuckle Pro Couplers kindly provided to the community by ModelCitizen. Has lights everywhere and two exhausts. What's not to love? :D

Another one I made to go with my RS-1 in my save game I occasionally play to help fill in some of the gaps of early diesel locos. I also have a soft spot for weird/forgotten things and things that sound bizarre. Hopefully someone might like it too. The first load could be a little slow, but subsequent ones should be instant. :)

Back to Australia next for the Clyde 1700/1720 class for Queensland Rail and to finish the New Zealand DFT I've been fiddling with for ages now.

hey think you could throw on some B-B trucks and make it the H-16-44? VGN used those and they would go great with my most recent mod!

Oh no! Well shoot, hope you can find them if not it's all good I know someone did a convert on some of the old TpF1 ones in the discord maybe message them and see if you can rebuild off of those?

I'll have a look, I'm not sure I still have the original masters, a hard drive crapped itself not long ago and I lost some of the original stuff. This is on my list of stuff I want to remake. since I'm A LOT better at modelling and texturing now than I was then.

Hey could these be opened to reskins and shadow mapping? We just got SP commuter cars in the workshop and we would like some more options on these road name wise unless you would be down to adding to this

Haha thank you! :D I have a DBR from NZ almost finished, an RS-1 Almost ready for textures and next up is a T Class from Australia.

I have, I adore the look, I'd need to see if anyone else already has one underway. We try not to double up on stuff since there aren't a lot of people making mods.

Can you the General Electric U34CH in the Generic livery (paintable livery based on the 'Bluebird' livery; from 1970), Erie Lackawanna Bluebird livery (from 1970), Chicago and North Western livery (from 1970), Amtrak Phase I livery (from 1971), Amtrak Phase II livery (from 1974), Amtrak Phase III livery (from 1976), Conrail Bluebird livery (from 1976), MTA Bluebird livery (from 1978), NJ Transit Bluebird livery (from 1983), NJ Transit Disco Stripe livery (from 1983), and the SEPTA Blue livery (from 1991)?
