[UES] The HMS Kingfish

The HMS Kingfish was a former vessel of a rogue Coalition captain who perished of unknown causes at sea. After the submarine stopped responding to radio communication, a search party was dispatched to see what had become of the former crew. A Coalition search team came across the vessel idling in the aphotic plateau, silently drifting with a damaged reactor. Upon entering the vessel, the search team discovered the interior in a state of disrepair, with most electrical function being badly damaged and unreliable. No signs of the surviving crew were found, with the only clue to their fate being the numerous bullet holes in the interior plating and a smattering of broken glass shards lining the floor of the medical bay.

The HMS Kingfish was towed into a coalition port and repaired with the intent of re-issuing the submarine to a new crew, although endless bureaucracy and internal disputes over the former vessels shipping manifest hampered this initiative. The submarine was later sold in a Coalition police auction. This is how you, an enterprising submarine captain, came into possession of this vessel. What secrets does this abandoned submarine have in store for you? It might be worth taking a look around.....



-Three standard issue Coilguns, located on the upper fore side, lower fore side and lower aft side respectively.
-One dorsal-mounted railgun, fitted with a formerly decommissioned pneumatic auto-loading system
-Forward Camera accessible via the command bridge periscope
-Detachable combat-ready shuttle craft
-Remote control shuttle capability
-Special-Issue depth charge launcher
-Autonomous Reactor fire suppression system
-Brig outfitted with an illegal lethal gas dispersal system


-The Mech experiences minor flooding upon redocking with the main craft. This is not an issue as it does not compromise the hull of either vessel. The water is quickly removed by the shuttle's interior pump anyway, meaning that this is only a minor annoyance and not a real problem.
-The light in the bridge is not connected to the power system, yet still functions. I'm not going to rewire the whole sub to fit one more light on the junction box array, so this is staying the way it is.
