Yeah you are right. The original plan was to add invisible walls to counteract that, but we ran out of time.

I dont know if Im a moron who forgot something in the game, but the wooden supports in the maze, while they make sense in game, make it really really hard to wall jump them since you cant climb on them then jump higher.

Sure, I can explain the puzzles. SPOILERS AHEAD - if you are reading the comments and want to figure these out on your own, don't read further.

So to start with, a random sequence is generated on the center machine that all the wires lead to. You have to complete the puzzles in the order that is shown there or they will all reset themselves.

Now for each puzzle:

Square: in the center are three rows of triangles, pointing up or down. Place the levers in the pattern shown on the first line, then the second line, and then the third.

Octagon: You must enter three 4 digit passwords. If you look at the keyboards you will see a grid of blue squares. Combine this with the diagram on the wall and you will see that these blue squares match up with the Numpad keys on your keyboard. Some of the squares are numbered like dice, 1 to 4. This is telling you the numbers for that code, in the order they are to be pressed. However if you try to press these numbers on the Numpad keys, it won't work. Look closer at the diagram and you will see that it's telling you to enter the sequence on the number keys at the top of the keyboard. When you have the sequence figured out, press the corresponding letter, type the sequence of numbers, and you will advance the power gauge. Do this for all three sequences to complete the puzzle.

Triangle: You see this sequence - 4 + 9 26. The trick here is to first realize that the numbers correspond to letters in the alphabet. You want to press the fourth letter of the alphabet, and the 26th letter of the alphabet. However, don't be tricked into pressing the 9th letter - instead press the 13th letter of the alphabet (4+9). Press the three correct letters and you complete the puzzle.

Circle: This one is easy. Just press A and D at the same time.

Complete all the puzzles and the machine will rev up and you will see an awesome final cutscene.
