SSC - Andromeda-class Freighter

With the need for all-environment, long-range freighters being apparent for both military and civilian uses, a successor to the Mastodon-class bulk freighters was needed. Unlike the Mastodon-class and the prototype Mastodon II-class, the Andromeda-class focuses on true interplanetary capabilities and reduction of over-redundancy.

Having four large Hydrogen tanks and 5 large Hydrogen thrusters on its ventral side, the Andromeda-class is capable of flight in any vanilla planet and most modded planets. Straying from its predecessors, the Andromeda-class uses solely hydrogen fuel for transport, making it very maneuverable for its size at the cost of having few fail-safes.

While not being able to carry as much cargo as the Mastodon-class, the Andromeda-class' 16 Large Cargo Containers make it capable of transporting vast quantities of supplies and resources between planets.

Expanding upon its interplanetary capabilities, the Andromeda-class gets a stack of 5 Jump Drives. With so much of its weight being shifted towards jump capabilities, it can travel up to 6000km in a single jump. Additionally, the ship comes with a docking port, allowing it to carry smaller freighters or transports for small shipments or support craft for long-term space travel.
