This Mod adds a Metal Pick Variant that will harvest additional resources from existing resource nodes

Element from Metal Nodes.
Gems from Crystal Nodes

If this mod actually generates interest I may add further Utility/QOL to the mod.

Hi! I looked through several mods for the extraction of an element, but the most optimal mod for the extraction of an element is the Elemental Pick mod, the mod cannot be called a cheat.

does this mod change Metal Nodes?
because if i generate some with simple spawners mod the pick doesnt work on them

dosent work not even the admin command works and i cant also find it in engrams

After using this for a while, I found the Custom Harvesting mod here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2021297623 that basically allows you to alter any resource node to get whatever you want, including what this mod does, with a normal pickaxe. Thanks for this mod, it's been useful while I used it.

Just installed this mod on my server( The Center map) . I can confirm it is working. Element harvested/chance seems to be based on how "metal rich" the rock is. I did about 20 crystals and got green gems 3 times. If you use the "Upgrade Station" mod you can upgrade this pick using a multiplier of its base resource cost. The only thing i don't like is the inventory icon is exactly like the metal pick icon, but that is a very minor issue.

As of March 2022 works perfectly though the yield by default benefits from running it through the upgrade station a few times. Use in combination with the Element Factory and it takes all the grind and challenge out of Element farming. Now I need to find a good spot for my Tek Replicator that doesn't look weird. :)

How Do you can craft the "Metal Pick", if you don´t have element on the Server? I can spawn it ...but this is not the correct way.
