Surface Lift - Montaz Mautino - Tension Station 1


A surface-lift or skilift does the same job than a chair lift in ski resorts. You can find surface lifts worldwide, however France, Switzerland, Spain and Italy are the most provided countries.


In CS, you won't have a proper functionnal skilift has I don't know how to create that. It's only eyecandy, to get more realism on your ski resorts. Also I recommend to use it with PO and electric lines. Here's a way to proceed:

Place your stations and your pylons, then join them with a single electric line and ajust everything by using Procedural Objects mode on the pylons. If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, check some tutorials. Those assets are recommend for confirmed players.


GMM Tension Station 1:

This is a tension station, version 1. Place it at the end of your line, on the top. This is where skiers will drop their sticks, and it is called a tension floating wheel.

You will find this skilift in your transports menu, in the cable car tab. If you have find it, you can type GMM and you'll have all the assets for the skilift. Place the departure station at the bottom on the line, then the pylons and place the arrival station at the top of the line.
