Did you know Akon (singer/songwriter of "Smack That" and "Lonely,") has raised $4 billion USD to fund his project to build an African Smart City called Akon City in Senegal? I didn't either, but the minute I found out, I knew I had to spread the word! I just couldn't wait the 10 years for construction of Akon City to be completed: and now you don't have to wait either!

Presenting: the City State of Akon City!

Since the real life Akon City is designed to be a smart city, its Civilization 6 counterpart will be a science type, with its ability focused on gold (due to Akon City's prorietary cryptocurrency, Akoin, which you can actually buy today).

When allied with Akon City, your campuses will produce gold equal to their science adjacency bonus.
