Dagger Class Destroyer

The Dagger Class Destroyer (besides being likely the slowest destroyer in the fleet) is a solid small missile/railgun craft that fits its role pretty well. It can dish out solid damage and has decent armoring and defense. The idea behind the dagger was a ship with high damage output and good missile defense for its size.

Offensively, the dagger utilizes three railguns, a front railgun with APHE shells and two rear railguns that act as slow firing CIWS and fire sabot shells. The Daggers main weaponry is its medium missiles and torpedoes using all types of damage. The dagger shouldn't be heavily countered by any type of craft and be able to deal with a lot of what is thrown at it.

For defense, the dagger has smoke, heavy armoring on some of the guns and missiles and a medium sonar and radar decoys for missiles. It also has many small torpedo and missile interceptors as well.

For weaknesses, the dagger should be countered mostly by lasers but also by APS (mostly small gauge and APHE) as its armor is the weakest part of its defense. The daggers main built in weakness is the single engine powering the entire ship, if that is destroyed, the ship should stop functioning.

If anyone is interested in submitting a vehicle or structure or building something for my faction please let me know, I'll also gladly take suggestions for ships to use as references or ideas for crafts that would fit in with the rest of the faction. I'm also looking for people to help test out the ships already designed and to provide feedback on potential changes and suggestions along with issues with ships. (on older ships, if steam engines don't work, just message me and I'll update the file)
